Background of Training Funding

Establishing this Training Funding is to encourage Secondary Schools to take utility relating course for their students in the sense that utility knowledge can be widely introduced to secondary schools and to enhance student’s interest and prepare them to join and develop their career in the utility field.

At the moment, course such as ‘Utility Profession and Applications’ Applied Learning Course jointly organized by the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Hong Kong (HKU-Civil) and Utility Training Institute (UTI) is one of the courses that is eligible for the funding. For Training Funding application, please fill in the Application Form for Training Funding and return it to Hong Kong Utility Research Centre Secretary, Department of Land and Surveying and Geo- Informatics, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hung Hom, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
