Programme Highlights
Exposition of how pandemic viral strains develop and spread; how early containment of infection transmission can significantly impact the overall spread of the virus; overview of common preventative measures taken by organizations with an assessment of their efficacy and desirability; description of anti-microbial and other infection prophylactics and how they can halt or mitigate the spread of infectious disease in both normal and heightened risk periods of operation.
Speaker Profile
Melissa has served in the role of CEO since 2001, where she focuses on strategic and policy issues, providing the Company’s vision and direction. She is fiercely dedicated to Filligent's mission, constantly urging our team to deliver timely, effective, ethical and pragmatic tools for disease interventions. She is particularly concerned with the health plight of those in developing nations.
Melissa is a great believer in independent, critical thinking. She insists that we deconstruct complex issues, right down to first principles. From this, we build a range of scientific solutions, layering in strategies to deal with real-life problems. Her vision, personal background and career in ethical investing, finance and law make Melissa an ideal person to guide Filligent.
